Hi
I was searching eBay for Nights into Dreams, and bid $20 on this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220534327554&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
The only problem is that I didn't realise it was the Japanese version . So, I figured I'd check here to see if anyone wants to bid over top of me, if someone bids $20.50 I know I won't try to outbid them.
Since this is the Import-Mania section of this forum, I thought it would be appropriate to search for interested bidders here. I have no interest in a game that won't play on my Saturn.
If this is against policy or is otherwise inappropriate, then I offer my apologies.

You can:
1)Retract the bid
2) Buy it and then buy one of the many devices that let you play imports on your Saturn. If you are a Saturn fan, you'll come to realize that some of the Saturn's best games were Japan-only. Plus, some of those devices have cheat codes that help with some difficult games.
3) Buy it, then resell it.

he can also win it and not pay, nothing going to stop him since sellers cant leave negative feedback.

Uh oh. This is gonna get ugly.
If you don't have enough time left to retract, and you honestly don't want the game, then you might try messaging the seller and offering to pay them a couple bucks to cover their fees and trouble so they can relist it.

I can't really retract the bid; I ought to have known that this was Japanese only, as that was stated in the item description, even though I missed it.
I was really hoping someone here would want it or know someone who wants it, and is willing to bid on it.
I think I'll message the seller and see if we can come to some sort of an arrangement where I only pay partial price and he keeps the item.
If worse comes to worst I will do the honourable thing and buy it.
EDIT
If anyone is interested in how this has concluded, this is what happened:
I contacted the seller and informed him that I had made a mistake, and he graciously offered to let me off the hook without buying the item, asking only that I reimburse him the cost to relist the item.
I am very pleased with this outcome. Also, I see no further need for this thread to exist.

Good thing you messaged the seller, BTW my US version of Nights will play in JP consoles, I wonder if the same is true of the JP version.
