Anyone else decide to give this one a shot? I decided to pick it up last night since I was in need of a new hack-and-slash. I've only played through the prologue so far, but I think it's pretty fun. It borrows heavily from the God of War series, but seems like it's got enough polish to be halfway decent.

There is nothing there. Also, there is the code that comes inside the game that you are to use at www.darksiders.com, but they ahve not released what that is for, other than that is a reward for first run purchases of the game. I wonder if that is what its for?

What a couple of my buddies are telling me is that it's a so-so combination of the formulas for the God of War series and The Legend of Zelda series. Nothing really outstanding. That being said...I haven't played it either.

Same thing I've heard from someone I know.

One thing I did hear as well. He said he originally got the 360 version and the amount of screen tearing makes the game almost unplayable. That he looked up online and found many people were having the same issue. He said the PS3 version fares much better so if you're someone who has both systems and is interested, I'd probably go with the PS3 version.

There's a patch coming out for the issue the 360 is having with screen tearing, but how long the wait and who knows if it'll fix the problem.

Was thinking about it, the whole God of War with Legend of Zelda feel has me really interested, guess with the screen tearing issue will pick-up the PS3 version most likely.

Reveived my "War - Horseman of the Apocalypse" Figure in the mail Saturday from Best Buy. They mailed it in the box it comes in (cheap) with of course the postage stickers all over it. It was made by THQ, so it makes me still wonder what that bonus code is for at the Darksiders website.
