Intellivision II Power Sticking

I just bought an Intellivision II of Ebay. It works and all, but the power button sticks. I have to push the power button 5-10 times for it to come on every time. Wonder what might be causing that?

The power button presses down on a dome switch on the PCB. I'd guess that either it's not making good contact with the dome switch, or the dome is cracked. Inty IIs are a cinch to open, just have a peek and see how things look.

If it's not making good contact, sometimes a few layers of scotch tape put over the dome switch can help.

The dome didn't look cracked. I added about 5 layers of scotch tape. It still doesn't come on right away but now it only takes about 3 pushes instead of 5-10. Have anymore advice? I can live with 3 pushes but just curious if there is something else i can do. Thanks

Is it possible to rewire a new external switch? Or maybe find a new dome switch replacement?
