Anyone pick this up for the PC yet? I had no idea it was coming out until I saw it in Wal-Mart yesterday. Grabbed it off Steam cheap while it was on sale. They sure did a hell of a job updating the game, that's for sure...looks beautiful!

According to Croteam's website, they've got another game coming too, on the same engine.

Thoughts anyone?

Fun times indeed and I did grab it, but I'm really waiting for the 360 version coming next week or whatever to play it. I've played Serious Sam on PC so many times, ready for a new platform.

It ran great on my sons computer up until the last boss, then he ran into a issue causing the game to crash. On my crossfire system the game just ran like ass. There was graphical glitches abound, and the game crashed usually after 4-5 mins. Did it even in single card mode. I was assuming this was a steam/online only release for PC and game systems. Would have liked to have had a retail copy(of a fully working game anyway).

That reminds me of Sega's 16-bit commercials, especially the "infomercial" one.

Too bad it doesn't have "2nd Encounter" included, I enjoyed that romp a tad more than the 1st.

I just played the demo for this. It's just as mindlessly fun as the original Xbox version, but now it's a whole lot prettier.

I bought it a few months ago, as far as graphics go it should be called Serious Sam Source. It's fun, but it gets a little bit repetitive towards the end.
