Does anybody know why buyers include both their street address and po box number when payment is made? It always confuses the heck out of me because I don't know if they want it shipped to the street address, po box number or if everything is actually the way it is suppose to be. What would happen if I sent it through the post office with both of them on it?

Hacksaw + Game Cartridge + two delivery confirmation slips = problem solved.

I ship to whatever address is registered with PayPal and print a label from there so I am covered under seller protection. unless it is an international order where I use their eBay address because PayPal formats intl addys wrong and I'm not covered anyway since I have no tracking.

So If address is:
Jon Doe
123 Main Street
Box 27
Anywhere, NY 00001
Then I should just include everything and let the post office sort it out? I know some people include both incase you ship ups/fedex, but i never know if box 27 is actually an apartment number.

UPS/FedEx can only deliver to a street address, whereas USPS can deliver anywhere. I see this all the time, and if you're using USPS shipping, just leave it as it is and it'll arrive fine. Otherwise, just use the street address, not the Box number.

If you ship Priority, the customs form (it's the big one, not the small green colored one) has a number that acts as tracking.

I make a lot of money off international sales because I offer $7.95 first class compared to all the other sellers who only ship priority. Only lost one package before which was $20 so I'm not that worried.

I've only had to ship international a handful of times and (besides to Canada) they've all been pretty large so I've only had to do Priority so far. The last one was $150 worth of stuff and it cost another $40+ to ship. XD

It could be a rural address. I know we had a "Box some number" in our address that looked a lot like the example you gave. Though that also looks like it could be an apartment number. The post office is sure to get it to the right place in either case if you include everything.
An eBay buyer once had me send them something with instructions as pat of the address...it looked like this:
Name
Address Street
Leave package at back basement door
City, State zip
I was afraid it would come back but it got there just fine.

People include their street address and PO box because they likely don't have a mailbox.
