Everytime I have a question about the Saturn I will post it in here in order to not make a new topic for each question.
My question now involves the 3d pad, does the joystick work with any game or does it work with only certain games? Because I tried using my 3d pad and the joystick wouldnt work but the D-pad works on both settings.

I believe the 3D pad works with certain racing games and mech games.

He's right, the analog mode only works on a handful of games such as Nights. Slide the switch over to digital and that mode of the controller should work on almost all Saturn games.

Ok, I dont like the sensitivity of the shoulder buttons of the official controllers is there any cheap 3rd party controller that isnt as sensitive?

EDIT: Nevermind, wasn't the Eclipse controller I was thinking of. I think it was the Model 2 controllers.

Do you not know how to search for yourself? Most of the answers will be on this forum for god sake!! :frustrated:
Saturn games that use the 3D analog controller? (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=139503)
As for the controller question I don't see any thread that jumps out at me but I know it has been discussed before on one of the many Saturn threads and I'm pretty sure that the official model 2 is always on top for the best. With one of the other controllers you might get what you're looking for but at the cost of the D-pad.

Dude, this is Digital Press, not newbie gets to start threads every five minutes and demand answers to questions which can be answered with a little time on Google and other sites. You haven't been here long enough to have caused all the annoyance which you have caused, so please, please just take a few months off of posting. Thank you.

Yeah, see that thread for a partial list of titles that support analog. A lot more Saturn games than most people realize have analog support.
As for controllers, the model 2 controller is definitely the most popular one, but I personally prefer the 3D Controller for everything. For games that aren't analog I just use it in digital mode. I like the look and feel of the controller better than the model 2 controller, whether or not I'm using the stick. The Saturn 3D Controller really is already one of my favorite controllers ever...

Urzu is getting strong negative reactions from people despite being pretty reformed lately. He's not demanding anything, nor flooding the forum with threads, so there's no reason you guys can't just avoid clicking the thread.
Bumping an inconclusive thread isn't really a good way to find answers either. Most people who reply only look at the first post and/or don't realize that A: the thread is old and B: someone else has posted needing help. Even if you dig something up, your post is still buried.

A few points here. If he hadn't posted a thread about Saturn batteries exploding less than 24 hours ago, I might agree with you. Unfortunately, he did post exactly such a thread and instead of using that one, he went ahead and created this additional one. Second, there are plenty of resources out there for the Saturn and a simple Google search would have yielded the list of games which work with the 3D controller. Third, he treats every thread he starts as a running conversation rather than a message thread. There are chat rooms and other resources available for discussions of that type.

I made the explosions thread before I thought to make this one. I don't like the model 2 controller because my finger holds down the shoulder button when I hold the controller I have a 3rd party controller that is good but its buttons like to stick
