Noticed the save battery on the pokemon yellow I just go was dead and i have some replacement batteries for pokemon gold and silver. Was wondering if these would work without any problems. I ask because The battery on pokemon yellow seems to be smaller and isn't a cr2025 ( 1166? ).
just need to know if it would matter if I used a battery designed for pokemon G/S/C instead.

does yellow use a CR1616? if so you can use a 2025, just need to rig it in there so that it fits without blocking or shorting anything. same voltage, moremah. it will work and last a bit longer than the old battery did
