Well since aquring Gunstar heros as well as Mutant League Football recently I hooked my Sega CDX back up and played Gunstar heros. WOW! What a fun game! This point I'm keeping the cdx hooked up awhile to play more GS as well as PSIV, Shinobi 3, Ranger X, task Force harrier EX and the other few Genesis carts i got!

EO, actually a couple months back when the new Gamestop by me opened I had picked up a couple NES carts and because their "Buy 2 used games get 1 free of same or lower price rule" I had picked up a complete Genesis 6-Pak from it.

I loved that sale. The only thing better than finding Lunar 2 complete is getting it for free. Can't wait until they do it again (it's a common sale for them)

I've been getting into the 16 bit kick recently as well. Fired up the SNES and played some Super Castelvania IV. Never quite realised how sweet a game it was, even today. I can't wait for when Yoshi's Island and Final Fantasy II arrive in my mailbox.

I have recently tried Brutal Sports Football on the Jaguar and that game totally blew me away. I never knew this gem was so good, and cheap too! I've never played Mutant League Football, is it a similar game to BSF, or what?

"lol yeah accually like this past saturday I found a complete Mickey Mouse's World of Illusion along with Shinning Force 2"

"You've got the Shinning, boy!"
"Don't you mean the..."
"Quiet! You want us to get sued?"

Seriously, though, some of my favorite games were on 16-bit systems. Can you believe that Forgotten Worlds was the catalyst in my decision to upgrade to a Genesis? That's the last game most Genesis fans seem to remember, but it was my first experience with the system, and I was utterly blown away by its gorgeously shaded and detailed graphics. Once I saw those bright blue zenny coins floating in mid-air, I just KNEW I had to have one.

The 16 bit era was the greatest by far, IMO.

SNES, Genny, Neo Geo...

I think I'm gonna go play some Rock N Roll Racing. :rocker:

RNRR just shipped for the GBA, although I've yet to get a copy. Anyone have it yet, and if so, how does it compare to the SNES version?

16-bit is the era i really started playing games... had the 2600 when i was a tyke, got the NES for my 7th b-day... but the snes was "it"

lately i've been playing a few choice Genny titles tho, since acquiring the RCA out cable from omnedon. Vectorman 1 & 2, Rocket Knight Adventures, Steel Empire... man, you just can't beat the gameplay on some of those titles.

The one thing we forget about in the era of 128 bit systems is how
much fun simplier games are to play.

To me Sonic and Knuckles rocks...
