Has this ever been done before? I've noticed that in recent years we've seen a lot more updates and remakes from games that were born on a past console/handheld. I'm wondering because I feel like the N64/Saturn/PSX days we saw very little remakes of classic titles, while now in days they aren't hard to come and a lot of gamers seem to want them (such as PSX Final Fantasy remakes for PS3/360).
So I say we start making a definitive list of remake/updates per system to see how this trend has really progressed over the years.
Rules (or examples I suppose):
* A game like Sword of Mana (GBA) as a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure would count despite the different game series.
* A game like Aero the Acrobat (GBA) even though is a direct port of the SNES game (meaning no updates) still counts.
* A collection of remakes such as Super Mario All-Stars counts, and they also count indivudally, such as the Mario Advance series.
* I'm torn whether to include bonus discs, I could see something like Zelda Collection for GameCube counting, but something of Tower of Druaga (bonus disc in Japan that came with Baten Kaitos) not counting.
Either way, what's everyone got?
