Do you like Alexey Pajitnov's timeless puzzler Tetris (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/tetris) as much as you like succumbing to unrelenting waves of nausea? You'll probably want to check out the new Flash-based sensation, First-Person Tetris (http://www.firstpersontetris.com/). There's not much of a learning curve, here -- it operates pretty much exactly like the block-dropping puzzler you know and love, only with a small twist. We'll let you figure it out for yourselves -- why not give it a spin, provided you've got some free time (and a strong, strong stomach).http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif (http://www.joystiq.com)First-Person Tetris will spin you right round, baby, right round (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/15/first-person-tetris-will-spin-you-right-round-baby-right-round/) originally appeared on Joystiq (http://www.joystiq.com) on Fri, 15 Jan 2010 02:15:00 EST. I wasn't expecting that.

The shock of what I was seeing gave me a headache and had me laughing.

When I saw the topic title, I was expecting Tetris from the first person perspective of the falling block. Oh well, maybe next year.

Same. I was expecting some kind of trippy(er) hack of Tetrisphere.

same as you 2 guys, thought i'd get to finally feel the pain 1st hand of a falling tetris block slamming into place :(

game really wasnt nauseating in the least to me, just a bit trickier to play, and i dont have a particularly strong stomach or sense of direction, thought i'd be puking by what the 1st couple of post imply :(

Just want to note that the same exact thread was started last night in Classic: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=140232

If the playing screen part was bigger, or I had great eyesight, I would love this. Otherwise its a pain for being to small.

That wasn't that bad. It's not first-person either. Had it been first-person from the perspective of the blocks, then THAT would probably make me feel really nasty considering I don't do well with first-person games in general.

While I enjoyed the general concept, it got to me after a while, I gave up after I started getting the same piece 6 times in a row.
