I've recently acquired a Lunar Silver Star Story for the Playstation. All 4 disks are in mint condition. The case is in good condition, only some minor scuffing on the top. No instruction manual or map included. Was just wondering what the value might be?

Does it come with the outer cardboard? I would say $30 - $40 depends on if you have the cardboard outer case or not. If you had it complete with everything I would say $50-$65 but I wouldn't pay more then $50.

Check the case, the Lunar SSSC: Fan Edition didn't come with anything BUT the case/manual. http://www.game-rave.com/psx/playstation_perfect_guide/workingdesigns/index.htm Just scroll down. If your front insert looks like the lower front/back insert and the discs look like the ones directly to the right of it, then you've got the Fan edition.

I just checked and no it is not the fan edition. Looks like it is "regular edition c".

The "fan edition" didn't come with extras? So... was the one with extras the "average consumer edition"?

the original one came with extras, the fan edition was released later I believe and is called the fan edition because some of the artwork it used was created by fans as opposed to the studio.

Not 100% on that but I'm pretty sure.

Been reading about this a bit. This picture should help:

I believe the fan edition discs are the very two bottom ones. The collectors edition apparently had variant discs, but I've only ever seen the ones on the top right.

I'd pay around $30 for this (yes, btw, that's an offer, payable on the 21st, as that's my payday). That particular variant isn't too easy to come by (I had the first three, but never the Fan Art edition or the "C" variant). From what I've seen, the 4 discs and the case usually go for $25 or thereabouts (the occasional fluke hits $30-$35, but I've seen other flukes in the $15 range).

Those are my pics! I forgot about them and thought DB pulled them down when he redid the WD variant page. Yes, the bottom two discs are the fan discs. In Rarity's 'sake' the most common set is upper left (A) and the (D) set is the rarest of them, though they arn't rare in the sense of hard to find, just the least common of the bunch.

The Lunar SSSC 'Fan Edition' was a EB Games exclusive, and the disc art was done by a WD forum regular who did lots of fan art. If I remember correctly it was voted on by the masses on the site at the time. Also if memory serves on the second disc there is a bunch of fan art that is viewable as a bonus.

I'll probably take you up on your offer. Just pm me on your payday and we'll talk. It is definatly the "c" variant. One disc has the two girls and the other has the goofy looking guy on it. Thanks to everyone for all your insight. I never knew the exact order of the variants until now.
