Hi guys, I just picked up house of the dead 2 and 3 return and house of the dead over kill for wii. I also grabbed a perfect shot too. I'm not to impressed with the perfect shot. The wii remote is hard to get in and the thing just looks and feels really cheap. I want something that is better made.

Has anyone tried the buckshot shotgun? It looks pretty decent and is made of metal and has a built in directional controller.

Any thoughts ?

No, but I have the "official" zapper. I was actually thinking of picking up the perfect shot, it was my understanding that it was pretty good. The zapper is just a bit bulky, you have to hold it like a machine gun instead of a pistol. I think I would prefer a pistol.

I do like Link's crossbow training, even though it gets a lot of flack. It's short, sure, but I actually pulled this one out the other day and had a go at it for about an hour. It's just one of those titles you can pick up at any time.

Come to think of it, I never play my House of the Dead 2/3. I might have to check out house of the dead overkill if it is more of a console-type game. I did really like Umbrealla Chronicles.

Do any lightgun-type games use the new motion-plus? Umbrealla Chronicles was a little shaky nailing zombies in the head...

There's no way that rail shooters would benefit from Wii MotionPlus. MotionPlus doesn't interact with the infrared sensor in any way.

I've also heard that the Perfect Shot was pretty good. However, a lot of people who own it say that the holster breaks pretty easily.

If you don't like HotD 2&3 then you'll hate Overkill. It's everything HotD fans know and love, but with the vulgarity meter turned up to 11. Excellent game.

It isn't that I didn't like House of the Dead 2/3, I think I'm just not in the mood for a quarter muncher light-gun game these days. I certainly like shooting zombies. Is Overkill a quarter-muncher type, or is it setup more like Umbrella Chronicles.

Not sure on the technology, but the archery that comes with Wii Sports Resort is hella more accurate than, say Umbrella Chronicles or HOTD2/3. How can this not translate to a light-gun type game?

The Nyko Perfect Shot is the best option for the Wii.

Honestly, they're all just plastic shells, so there's gonna be a degree of cheapness regardless of which one you pick.

I have a Nyko Perfect Shot and I had to place a washer wrapped with tape behind the lever that presses the button to eliminate excessive trigger travel. The Zapper has little trigger travel and shots like a machine gun in comparison. The Perfect Shot also requires lubrication to quiet squeeking and prevent wear.
