I rescued this the other day just because I thought it would be cool in the collection, but I don't know if it has any real value. Can anyone help?

It definitely does. How complete is it?

Let's see...
The box was never shrinkwrapped, I can tell because the original price sticker is on the outside of the box. $49.96 from Walmart.
It has a special cardboard holder for the 4 discs, with the discs in it.
It has the player's manual.
It has the Keypad template.
It has the Eidos merchandise catalog.
It has the warranty card, still blank.
It also has the "FFVII: Now For PC" yellow insert that tells you to make sure you install the proper drivers before loading the game.
Is there anything else that should be in the box for me to call it complete?

That's probably it. As complete as you have it, it'll probably fetch $75 or more.

May I ask what you mean when you say you "rescued" the game? Sounds like you got yourself a great item.

I was helping a relative clean out her house and this was among the things she wanted to toss. She said I could take it, so I did.

Is it a trapezoid box? If so that's the original print and worth $75 or so. The rerelease box (which I have on sale at the moment) is slightly less valuable depending on condition (and it didn't include a printed manual or keyboard layout thing).

The box is has all right angles. But the stuff that I listed is original.
