So what's the real story with Kakuto Chojin's supposed rarity? New copies are generally selling for less than $10 on eBay now, and there seems to be no shortage of them available for purchase. Was it re-released after the initial pull, or were there just already more of them floating out there than we originally thought? Will it ever rebound to a respectable resell level?

It was re realeased about a couple month's ago in some stores like PC Richards.
You could tell if it was a re release by it's box cover. If it's holographic, it's unedited, if it's not holographic,it's edited.

:hmm: are you sure its not the other way around? i bought mine off half.com a few days after the recall was announced and mine's the non-holographic cover. >:(

I'm defintily sure about the covers of the edited and unedited versions of Kakuto Chojin.

I think you might be wrong about the covers. Both of mine are the original & unedited, and have no holographic cover on them. They were both new and I personally opened the box that they were shipped in.

So in essence it'd probably be better to just open and play my original copy, right (even though I have no interest in doing so)? It doesn't look like I'll ever make back what I paid for it. x_x
