I picked these up today. I'm not too up on sealed games. Does anyone know what they may be worth?

I imagine that sealed Tetris will get you at least $100+ since even a CIB one is expensive.

I didn't even know a retail box was made, I thought it was only released as a pack-in game.

It had a limited normal release after they started the play it loud series (that didn't come with the game)

the label was slightly changed from the pack in release.

The Simpsons games CIB are pretty desired, so a sealed one ought to be worth real nice cash.

I've gotten some PM's but I'd really like to get a better idea what they're worth before selling to make sure both buyer and seller get a good deal.

The only thing I've found out is that sealed GB prices are all over the place. CIB Tetris looks to go for around $15-$30, maybe higher depending on the buyer. Haven't found anything on sealed though.

Also haven't found anything on the Simpsons game. Not even CIB pricing. I did look closer though and noticed that the seal is broken about a quarter of an inch along the bottom edge center(along cardboard edge):grrr:. How do things like this affect price?

The Tetris is mint however, and still has a/the plastic hanger thing atached if that means anything.

as someone in the market for the tetris, I'd pay 50$ for it.

A sealed TETRIS is one of the hardest to find sealed on the system. You can auction it on eBay starting the bidding fest with the highest offer you have on the site.

I can't give an accurate price but definitely i expect it to be above 200 usd.

Not even close to being one of the hardest to find. There are so many sealed Game Boy games that I'd say sealed rarities closely follow cib rarities. Tetris managed to get a Player's Choice release, so it is probably one of the most common games. But it is in high demand, so the price will likely be high.

Heh, someone seems to think the Simpsons game (http://cgi.ebay.com/Bart-Vs-The-Juggernauts-Nintendo-Gameboy-Sealed-VGA-85_W0QQitemZ170399994574QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_G ames_Games?hash=item27aca192ce) is worth $225-$250. Too bad it's slabbed and not an auction, otherwise it might have given me an idea of value.

I'd have thought Tetris would be one that'd be rare to find sealed, as many who bought it would want to open and play it.

(similar to how I've heard a sealed Super Mario World is rare, and especially non-Player's Choice)

At least Bart vs. the Juggernauts is one game that almost deserves the plastic coffin. :P

Sealed Tetris games don't go for much money at all. If you need further proof:

I know there will be a response of "well, that's the DX verison, not the B&W version". Well, the original version was auctioned a few times last year and didn't go for more than $50-$60 each time. So yeah, that's the value.

You may be right, i referred to my personal experience. It took me a while to get one sealed, it wasn't expensive but i couldn't find it anywhere. :bigmac:

its hard to warrant anymore then 50 for it, I would LOVE to have a complete copy but anything over that is too much for a game that is uber common (awesome but yeah)
