Hi guys. Has anyone ever tried using disc skins on there Wii (or any other cd based) systems ? I wander if its hard on the lens or anything? I have had a game or two with some light scratches and it drives me nuts. Thanks.

I don't like the disc covers. The best thing to do is make sure your games always go in the cases as soon as they come out of the system. And I don't recommend putting games discs in a binder.

Those things will end up putting more scratches on your discs. Avoid them at all costs.

This.

It's when people get lazy and they put their discs on top of the system to insert another one. They never put the games away, so the system or shelf gets a big stack of games and then they have to be shuffled around to find the game you want, essentially scratching your discs.

I have used these D-Skin products before, they're not the greatest thing ever but they also do work as advertised.

THAT SAID though, the last thing you want to use them for is your Wii! By their own statement, these things come loose and can really messed up any sort of slot loading system. So, it's good for the PS2, XBox, Dreamcast, the old stuff, even your PC drive ... but for a PS3 or Wii? Avoid it like the plague.
