It's says "Brand new, official Nintendo Brand, comes straight from the factory"

The seller also has a 100% positive feedback score. I could use a remote and nunchuck and 30 bucks is alot cheaper than 70. What do you guys think Seems too good to be true to me. I wouldnt really mind if there fake as long they work well.

I got one black set even cheaper last month, for like $23 shipped from China. Looks just like the real thing, Nintendo logos and all. No packaging though. Holding up fine. The Nunchuck control stick did feel a little mushier, but other than that I love it.

Hong Kong? Nothing that comes from there is OEM.

While HK might sell many fake items, they probably wouldn't fake the controllers.
If you're wondering about black Wii remotes being fake, they aren't. Japan has had them for a while, along with a black Wii system and the US is finally catching up.

lol.

There are real black Wiimotes and nunchucks, but you can bet your bottom dollar that Hong Kong fakes controllers down to the OEM logos.

Deal Extreme makes a habit of photoshopping out logos on HK knock-offs, but here's a great example of a mold-identical knock-off.

So, to the OP, there's a chance that the item you're ordering is OEM, but there's probably a greater chance that it's a knock off...reviews on the knock-off seem pretty decent though, so you may be safe either way.

Based on the fact that wii is on the remote It is probably resl, otherwise they would be making trademark infringement. I wonder though if when you receive it that it looks a little different from the picture and says Wi or something. They did release a black wii controller though if you did not know that.

The cord on the nunchuck looks a little short too... I'd say fake.

The image looks exactly like the one off the official Japanese Wii website...cord length and all. So I'd say that at least the image is real/ripped off.

The best litmus test is the price.

If you're paying FAR less than you'd pay at retail for a combination Nunchuck and Wiimote ($60?) then it's likely fake even taking exchange rates into consideration.

Less than $30 sounds fake to me.

Hmmm not to sound biased but I'd be leery of anything from Hong Kong items from there have been known to be faked do to the minutest detail. But on the other hand fake does not mean they won't work just fine...just remember you take your chances on ebay always

I know that in China things are so much cheaper, I would imagine Hong Kong may be similar. Things overseas are so much less expensive sometimes, mostly when it comes to electronics. I bought a cell phone battery from hong kong once and was pleased. In this case though, with the new buyer protection thing on ebay where they even reimburse shipping, Id say if you think its real take a stab.
