I have a Blasteroids cab that was converted into an MVS 1 Slot. The wiring is all JAMMA compliant (hooray for me) and I plugged a nice Final Fight board in and was playing it... I think I want to get some more JAMMAs to have in there for other games (basically so it's super versatile) but with the current CP being a 4 button layout for MVS it limits me for games like SF2, MK, etc.
My plan is to have an extra CP that I can quickly swap out (relatively quickly) when I put another board in there so I dont have a bunch of extra buttons just chillen on my CP cluttering it up. I will be using MOLEX connectors inside to make the wiring simple to connect/disconnect with the CP.
Anyone have any ideas where I could get a new CP made? I just need the metal part, no overlay or sticks.

This was EXACTLY my plan for getting Darkstalkers and Street Fighter II. I intended to get a second control panel from eBay so that I could keep one original and have one for six-button setup, and was going to use an awesome lots-of-pins molex connector to easy-swap.
Then I just bought a CPS-II big blue cabinet :P So... um...
Doesn't look there are any Blasteroids control panels alone on eBay right now. You could try asking in the trading forum on Neo-Geo.com, or you could take some careful measurements and build yourself a second panel out of wood (sand it at the front corner to round it off, paint it up nice, etc.).

I would just get a Dynamo cab with a 6 button CP. When I decided to make a SFII setup I searched our local Craigs...Boston, RI,Conn and found one quickly
for a 100 bux.

Ill try over at KLOV. I like my little cab. It has everything I need in terms of adaptablity and size... getting a second cab is not an option at the moment :(
