I think it's a great game - a bit too much focused on action instead of exploration, but a solid experience throughout. What do you think of The Last Guardian?

As a big metroid fan, I am optimistic of the series. The series needed a change of direction for sales. While I loved the Metroid Prime Trilogy, both its sales and Metroid Prime 3 were only okay from what I hear. These days, only selling a million plus games does not cut it. Franchise games such as Metroid must strive to do better. I am glad that they are changing the formula up, and hopefully the game can make a unique experience that wont alienate Metroid fans.

I don't really know anything about it other then the trailer they showed last year at E3, but I'm pumped for it.

I think it looks badass and the kinda game I want to see Nintendo making. Better gaming platform elements that made Nintendo what it is today, not first person shooter crap, which I believe is in it as well in parts (oh well), hopefully not much.


More "platform" gaming from Nintendo gets my vote for good.

Oh, it's gonna suck. I can tell because Samus's Power Suit is a slightly different shade of orange than it is in Super Metroid.

Nintendo has a good record when it comes to Metroid games. However, this one does look "over the top violent." That's quite a flavor change.
