Is there one available? I have looked for one several times in the past, but could only find rarity information on prototypes and special editions.

Most recently I was just wondering which was more rare, the Atari branded "heavy sixer" or the sears tele-games "heavy sixer"?

Such a list wouldn't need exact production numbers but a count of past sales of each variation of system to compile such a list.

So, does a console rarity guide already exist? If not, is there a reason why it doesn't? Is it just not feasible?

And again I'm not just talking about the rarity of special editions and prototypes and such, but actual standard retail variations of each console.

Our website (The Video Game Console Library (http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com)) provides general information for the rarity of a respective console. This stat is based both on quantities released as well as the overall ability to acquire. Not the best (we are working on it), but might assist you as an additional resource to DP's rarity guide.

Interesting topic. I'd love a listing of every video game console ever, with rarity of 1- to 10+.
