I'm going to a hardware store to look for a screwdriver to open an NES game, what exactly should I ask for? Should I ask for this: "3.8 inverse torx"? Is this what I need? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's a nintendo only screw.

You can get it here

From a hardware store?

You'll probably need one of these...

and one of these...

That's how I made mine and it works fine. I did eventually find some security bits at a hardware store but I still had to dremel them to get them to work well. Otherwise I've never seen the right thing at a regular hardware store and I've looked everywhere. Online is your best bet.

Sometimes if you poke around at Harbor Freight you can find a set of security bits that will work. Otherwise buy a kit online.
