Surface mount chip replacement is a bit out of my league at this stage, so I'm looking for an experienced modder to take on this job.

I'm looking to get my Sharp Famicom Twin AN-505RD RGB modded. I have the PPU in hand already. I just need someone experienced to install the chip, make the amp, and wire it all up to the 8 pin port on the back with the Genesis model 1 wiring standard.

If anyone wants to take this one on, shoot me a PM and tell me what a ballpark price would be on this job.

Thanks,

- RCM

Good luck finding a guy to do this! I had my toaster NES professionally modded by acem77 (he is on many forums like the gamesx forum). When I approached him about doing a twin famicom, he declined.

If you find someone that will do this for you, let me know! Hopefully you can also somehow get NES controllers to work with it.

I was able to solder a little adapter made from a couple gutted NES controller ports and a broken Neo Geo controller end to make the NES controllers work through the 15 pin expansion port.

I know ooXXoo devised a way to adapt an NES 4 score into the same port, he was interested in doing the RGB mod for me a while back but I haven't been able to raise him for a while.
