Won a SMS off Ebay and much to my chagrin the ass sent me a unit totally devoid of everything. The power supply, RF switch.... EVEN CONTROLLERS?!?! >:(
So can someone be so kinda to tell me what i can pick-up at the local radio shack to get this manhandled mass of black plastic up and running?

got a model 1 genesis? you can use everything from that, even the controllers. you can also use an NES RF. better to head to gamestop than radioshack :)

Genesis 1 AV wire works, as does a Neo Geo AV wire. NES RF works. Genesis controllers work fine on most sms games, there's a few incompatible titles though.

Don't worry about the incompatables as long as you have a 2600
controller you will be fine. You'll need one for Where in the world
is Carmen SanDiego and 2 other games. I have an old SMS console
myself except I found mine when I was taking a short cut through
an alley. All I learned about that system I learned the hard way.
