View Full Version : SNES power supply adapter plug in missing...just shows 2 prongs(how to fix)???

I got a SNES good shape hover where I connect the power supply the connecter is missing and is just showing to prongs like the connecter broke/fell off....how can I fix this ??

You have to take the whole back panel from another SNES since the AC adapter port is molded in the panel. Either that or switch shells with another SNES if the shell allows it (the earlier SNES has a different shell than the rest).

My friend had his cap come off too, but his ac adpater still works on it like that, as long as the pin on the adapter plug slides in between the two prongs

If you slightly bend one of the pins up and slightly bend the other down, it will hold the plug fairly tight. It should work fine as long as you have them bent just right and you do not move the system around too much when it is powered on.
