Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not Chameleon Kid (NTSC-J) for the Mega Drive will work on the American Genesis without needing Game Genie codes. For the record, I do have a Game Genie.

I read it's region locked, so it will probably need GG codes or a modded Genesis.

Wow, fairly old bump. Anyway, I tested it and it is region locked. Worked on my JP Mega Drive, but not on my Genesis.
