Anyone tried or playing MAG

I may have missed it and stupid servh won't work for 3 letters, but has anyone tried MAG(Massive Action Game) for PS3? I was kinda excited about this since it was made by the SOCOM guys. 256 player multiplayer also sounds cool. It's been out about a week or 2 now, but haven't seen any feedback. So..... anyone?

I played the beta, and it felt utterly generic. However, the real innovation of the game wasn't in the beta, so I can't really judge it. The core gameplay is nothing new, and I felt like I was playing something similar to Battlefield 1942. It doesn't really push the bar in anything except the online element, if someone else could review that.

I played during the open beta, and I got to say I did have fun. I'm not really any good at FPS games, but I was able to get a few kills and do my famous "run in with no strategy" quite a few times successfully. The 256 players at one time was interesting, but I never really felt like I was with 256 other people. Then again, I think it was meant to be like that.

Nayus, if you were talking about the 256 player mode, it was in the beta. You just had to get to level 10 before you could take part in it.

I only got to level 2... I don't think I could stand that much grinding to get to level 10. I'm more of a PC FPS person anyway. If they ported it to PC, on the other hand... Heck, I'd even take mouse and keyboard support on PS3! I just can't wrap my head around gamepad for FPS, no matter how much I practice.
