Liz and I will print out the 50 entrants from the list within that thread, lie them out on the floor, scan across with the webcam, put the stubs in a hat, and Liz will draw one lucky winner.

There shouldn't be any firewall issues. That page is just simple HTML that updates every few seconds (not an open continuous connection).

I've got no problem with the cam, but I can never get around the corporate firewall with the IRC applet. (I even have trouble with AIM sometimes.) :/

What you're looking at now are the 50 strips, one "handle" on each.
Liz and I will run the cam through them slowly so you can identify yours, but if you go back to the original contest thread, these strips are laid out in order of that list.

How about the rest of us who didn't win? Still planning on going to CGE? I know I am. I also know that retrotaku wasn't planning on going unless he won. Anyone else?

I want to go...but due to certain financial bombshells on the homefront, I've currently only got about a 50/50 chance. But I'm not going to stop trying unless it's August 8th and I still don't have a plane ticket. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get the time off from work, so I'll be damned if I sit around the house that whole weekend.

Im going to CGE this year no matter what.I wouldn't miss it for the world.I cant wait its going to be so so so so so so very awesome this year and im gonna love every second of it. :D :D :D :D

Congratulations l_lamb! Have an awesome time. This was a great contest, I enjoyed the anticipation of playing and hoping to win. Great idea, Joe. There should be a contest every year. As for me, my chances of attending this year are slim to none, but I will make it out there eventually, mark my words.

Finances are going to prevent me from making the trip this year also.
I will try to do both Phillyclassic and CGE next year though.
