Looks like random NES third party cheese that came out in the late 90s.

To me it looks like one I remember seeing with a famiclone or something.

Famiclones rarely have NES-styled controller plugs.

I'm thinking of the generation nex, but after looking up the controllers that's not it.

I saw a few on ebay by searching NES turbo controller...looks like they're just generic trash! :)

Bandai released a version of that although I think the buttons were differnt colours.

I've seen those several times at places around here that sell used games. Nothing too outstanding about them.
