N64 games are fully sealed some have been slightly squashed in the sides but not by much, and the mario kart one has a tiny seal tear on the left side.

Snes, the zelda has been squashed from the left side inwards but is still sealed.

NES, The Final fantasy has a big seal tear on the right side.

I also have 1 Ocarina of time sealed ones with a big plastic tear still hangin on the front left corner, and another one with a big squash on the right side :(.

thanks!

My first recommendation would be to send into VAG and increase the value by 2k monies.

Personally I would ask between $20-$50 for each of the sealed N64 games, $50 for the LTTP, and $100 for Final Fantasy. I wouldn't pay that much for them, but that's how much I would ask for them if I was selling those.

That seems low to me for those N64 games. The low end of that is what loose copies sometimes go for. I'm not saying that price makes sense, just that's what I've seen. A CIB I'd expect to go for the mid-range, so maybe 30. Sealed? Not sure, but quite a bit more. $50 would be the starting point I'd think.

Zelda also seems low, because there are Zelda collectors that might not otherwise want sealed games, but will for Zelda. Hard to say without better pictures, and I'll be watching for someone that knows sealed games better anyway. I'd guess more like 75.

A sealed FF went for $240 at open auction recently.

Someone hit a BIN on Mario 64 at $400.

A few points here. First, the Mario 64 and the Mario Karts are Player's Choice versions which go for far less than the original release versions. Second, it's hard to tell if any of the games have the vertical seal and what the edges and corners look like. Even small flaws kill the value of sealed N64 games. The Final Fantasy is so bad that I doubt it would draw much more than a CIB version. You're right though, these games can go for $50-$75 in truly open market auctions (as opposed to BIN where people are manipulating and bidding on their own stuff to boost perceived market value). Mario Party 3 goes on the higher end of the scale.

(psst... that's not Mario Party 3.)

You're right. I think those are probably the two most valuable items in the lot assuming they are factory sealed and mint. Even in private transactions they go for close to $100 sealed.

I might be out of touch with the current N64 market, all I know is about 3 years ago I had several brand new copies of Conker's Bad Fur Day and I couldn't get $20 each for them. I ended up selling them all for $15 each. I even tried selling them at a few video game swap meets full of collectors and only one person ended up buying them all, I couldn't sell any for $20. I also had multiple sealed copies of Turok 3 and couldn't get $10 each for them from collectors, I ended up selling them to an ebayer for $10 each and it was fun to watch the auctions. The first one sold for close to $30, the next one for under $3, the rest were either under $10 or just slightly over that.

The Final Fantasy looks beat up and has ripped shrink wrap, plus the LTTP was a player's choice copy and looks a bit crushed. I doubt I'd be able to sell them locally for more than what I listed, no idea about ebay selling prices.

I really don't care about what sells for what on ebay, that place is usually crazy. I just saw a used copy of Conan for PS3 sell for just over $20 plus shipping, yet I can easily get used copies for $14.99 plus tax at any EB Games I walk into, or for $10-$15 off craigslist. Ebay is not the only place to consider with values.

I was just providing an alternate position on them. I can't make out condition at all from that lousy picture, and of course condition plays a huge role. I also was a little blase about it and didn't take note of the PC games. So I guess I'd have to at least argue for the high side of your estimates, gameguy.

If you ever end up w/ more sealed Conker's I'll take em all for $20 apiece plus shipping. Gladly.

To the TC: I'd just post this over on the sealed collector's forum (I forget the name of it, I think it has heaven in the title?) as they'd know better than I think many of the people on here (I don't think there are too many sealed game collectors on DP, from what I've seen from other topics anyways).

Re-reading my post it seems like I came across more aggressive than I meant. I appologize for that, that was not what I intended.

I did miss the condition originally, I just caught the OP's description under the photo and examined the photo more closely afterwards. I did mean that I might be out of touch with the current N64 market, I'll look into current pricing as I have several complete games and if they actually sell for a decent amount I might just sell them off. It just throws me off when some prices just jump suddenly, like with complete Gameboy games selling for so much now. And it might vary for location, I seem to find a bunch of games cheaper than the going rate on ebay, or I used to months ago.

Maybe they will sell for more on ebay, I've just never sold games to other collectors for what they go for on ebay. I've seen a complete copy of Contra Hard Corps go for over $30 a few months ago, I've felt it's pretty much a $10-$20 game. I also saw a sealed copy of Contra for the NES go for almost $300 on ebay, I have a sealed copy and was tempted to sell it if I could get that much for it but decided against it. I was lucky to get it for way less than that, and it's cool to have an NES game still new. I wouldn't even pay $50 for a sealed common NES game if I planned to keep it, that's seems too much for me to spend on a game.

I totally understand, but I was just shocked by the low price on Conker's. It's been several years since you could get the cart itself for less than $20. (Well... $15~20 anyway.) I bought a CIB of it for $20 off CL over a year and a half ago and flipped it for twice that or more.

Definitely w/ sealed games the condition is the biggest thing. After all, why bother w/ something that's new if it's actually beat up? So TC's games are probably not going to pull in big bucks. But I think asking people who are more knowledgeable is going to give him the answer a lot quicker. I certainly don't know what they're worth, and in that condition I'd say probably CIB prices on most of em or a little higher. The FF might actually go for more if it's in great shape w/ just the seal being messed up. But again, I'm just guessing, and I think most of us on here would only be able to make educated guesses.

[edit: And yeah $30 is high for Contra Hard Corps. It's a solid $20, but not more.]
