Kid Niki and Super Dodge Ball

What do you think of these two games for the NES. I think they are two of the best titles for this system.

Kid Niki is tough. I don't understand why it's so difficult either, since it's a standard platformer. But for some reason, I can't get farther than the fourth stage. I don't even know how many levels are in it, honestly! The game has character, and the bosses are neat... but as for the game itself, it's standard fare.

Super Dodge Ball is great, however. :)

I'm a big fan of Kid Niki, but always found the game to be too easy. I think that's part of the reason I originally played the game so much at the arcade (trying to make those quarters l-a-s-t :) ) but the characters and bosses are really quite nifty. The only problem with the gameplay is that the areas with the "random bubbles" that float up from the bottom of the screen are decidedly unfair, but otherwise, it's a neat platformer.

Plus, it has that great music! And any game with characters like "Death Breath" or the "Grote Green Grub" is AOK in my book. :D

I think it is one of the best multi player gomes on the NES.

Super Dodge Ball. that one is my alltime favorite for the NES, maybe any system.

I bought it when it first came out and still play it alot. for some reason India always takes me the longest to beat.

Super Dodge Ball is mega sweet. Its the only "retro" game my best friend will play with me (although I think I have him hooked on Entombed). The controls are a little slow and the flicker is annoying, but the game is just sheer fun. Great game.

yeah I feel the same way on that one .You can just keep hitting them with the super throws and they still take forever .The music in that stage drives me up the wall. :o

super dodge ball is a classic, but kid niki is ok. I dont think it is very fun to play, and it is kinda difficult, sure i grew up with it and played it many long hours but i woudnt recommend it.
