View Full Version : A fun thing to do on Ebay

This may be a little off the subject, but it is pretty fun to do and it involves Ebay so here goes.

Do a search for something that you would like to buy (it does not really matter what, but of course I use video games. You can also do this with something more embarrassing, but it makes it less fun and more seedy). Find the completed items and find who won the auction. You can then click on that person's feedback number and their feedback comes up. This is when it gets fun. Now start clicking on all of the recent links of things that they won. You can see all sorts of stuff that they bought. You can then click on other people that have bought stuff from the first person and see what they have bought recently. It's a bit like going through their stuff, even though it's was not their stuff when it was posted. You can also do it with protos or more expensive things and see who is building a good collection.

I don't think that realy qualifies as "fun" but I use that to check the bidding habits of people who are bidding on stuff I want. It's a good way to gauge weither they're gonna bid the minimum incriment, or leave a huge proxy bid.

Because of this reason some people have 10 eBay handles or private feedback. I don't think it's fun at all.

I have NO CHOICE but to do this.

When someone wins multiple carts from me the easiest way for me to send them out is to find everything they've bid on, click on the link and find the exact game they bid on (Since I include pictures in my auctions and I might have 10 warlords games going, I have to find the ONE they bid on and bought).

You can't help but find things the person has bid on. I've actually BOUGHT some of the things other people have bid on this way :) I wouldn't call it fun, embarassing or informative maybe...

I can tell ya one thing. If I were going to go buy a double-headed dildo, I sure as hell wouldn't do it with my main account, LOL.

And this is why whenever I need a new vibrator I make damn sure the seller either doesn't leave feedback or makes it a private item. ;)

Wow, you girls really buy everything from Ebay, don't you? I'm waiting to see you get groceries and your next car from an auction! :o

Hey, nothing wrong with getting a car from ebay, it's one of their biggest business's! I DEFINITELY was looking on ebay when I bought my last car.

Urr...I'm pretty sure the feedback from...umm...private acutions won't show the item number, or it's listed as private auction or something like that. At least that's what I've heard.

I like to look up feedback on people with quite a few negatives, its fun to see if they have a pattern of scamming, are just a poor seller or are getting a bad rap. I know it sounds stupid, but I find addicting and sometimes you can see some hilarious excuses and name calling.

You know I don't think I'd really care if someone I don't know finds out that I've bought a vibrator. :/

Its sad to think that you're free time is spent cyber-voyeuring other peoples ended auctions. Fun? You are a very disturbed individual. I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking btw. :(

For what its worth, I bought my car on ebay.
