Nothing exceptional, but picked up 10 NES games, a couple CIB. I've been collecting NES casually for a little while, but this is the first time I've written about it. DP is definitely an inspiring community!

I'd love to hear feedback on what I found over the weekend here in Richmond, VA. Does your hometown have a better/comparable/worse flea market scene for vintage games?

That's pretty decent compared to the flea markets I've been to in the area. Heck I find at least a half-dozen copies of SMB/DH and a only a few others that I already have at every flea market.

Well, allow me to welcome you to the forums! We are all pretty passionate about our collecting and I know that you'll find plenty of valuable resources around here.

There is a forum on here devoted exclusively to things that you find 'out in the wild' (or, from someone on here). You can find that forum right here (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=140895). Congrats on the NES haul! There's some pretty cool stuff in there! After a set amount of time (10 days, I think?), the buying/selling forums will open for you, where I'm sure that you'll find some fantastic deals! Hope you enjoy your stay here!

Good choice on Magic of Scheherazade! That's one of the NES's finest unknown gems!

I'll try to check out a flea market/swap meet this Sunday, last time I came away with a copy of Dig Dug II NES, first copy I had seen in about 8 years. The place even had someone selling a Vii, a Wii knockoff out of China. But it looks like that Kickle Cubicle CIB find was quite tasty, I have the game in cart form but had to rely on ebay to get it, charming little game it is.

Indeed, however one caveat. That forum is locked to new users for 10 days. Feel free to post this 'find' in the finds thread once you can see the above linked forum.
