DosBox games on the Droid (or other Smart Phone OS's)

Does anyone know if it is possible to play abandonware on a smartphone? Specificaly on the droid... ssi/ssg games in particular!

Your subject line sucks. Your understanding of the definition of the term "abandonware" sucks even more.

I gather you want to know if it is possible to play old DOS games on an Android-based smartphone. The only way I see that happening in the near future is with a port of DOSBox to the Android, which I imagine will happen eventually, but doesn't seem to be out there yet.

He's quite right... and I've not heard anything on real progress on it either but it's just a matter of time.

How about "DOS Games on the Android?" or "DosBox for Droid question" or... anything else? Abandonware screams yet another a-ware argument session (what constitutes abandonware, is it really legal, etc)

Kind of a bad edit. The games aren't for DosBox. They're for DOS, and DosBox is just an emulator for that. The thread is almost like saying, "Hey what are some good SNES9x games?"
