Did anyone get the AvP hunter edition? Seems like all the pics were cg. Anyone have pics of it and more importantly the face hugger? Any impressions on it and all that good stuff :P Anything would be appreciated! Thanks!

I heard of alot of people that got a facehugger with a broken tail, dunno about it at all though.
I picked up the regular version myself as the hunters edition seemed pretty weak imo, on the other hand I got the God of War 3 UE preordered as i'm a sucker for a collector's edition that includes a soundtrack and seeing that it has the entire trilogy soundtrack I had to bite.

My Hunter's Edition shipped with a healthy facehugger (never thought I'd type that sentence :D )
It's actually really cool, probably about 1/5 or 1/6 scale, made of rubbery latex with excellent detail (and I don't mean de-tatched tail.)
The best part? The 'fingers' have bendable wire inside and are correct in scale (read: rather long) and so you can really attach it to something.
It is actually far creepier than I thought it would be, and a perfect toy for fans of the series. That and the super-cool WU patch are the only real selling points for fans, as most of them will probably already have the full graphic novel versions of the included shorts and multiplayer skins don't seem that big of a deal.
Despite the relatively poor value, I don't regret buying it, being a superfan of the Aliens movies. But others would easily disagree.

It looks like Amazon hasn't received their copies of the Hunter Edition yet either. There are dozens of people who I have seen post that they have either not received a shipped notice or were sent an e-mail saying the game has been delayed. Has anyone gotten one anywhere but Gamestop so far?

Imagine a lunch box turned upright, and that's pretty close. The front has a slick see-through celephane through the Weyland-Yutani logo to see the Facehugger (reminds me of a corporate-type bio-container like you see in the movies and in real-life secret bunkers ;P)

Thanks I finally tracked one down in Waldorf. I called every gamestop in the area. Everyone said it was for reserves only except 1. They had 3 LOL The price has gone up 99 bucks. I am not sure if the additional contents are worth 40bucks. I hope it is limited.LOL
