is there an easier way to move videos and music from my computer to my ps3without using a sd card or gigstick?

i was thinking maybe a male to male usb plug would work but i dont have one to test so im unsure

Well if you only want your PS3 to have access to those files, streaming them as a media server may work better. I've never done that, but I have a friend who has a server set up to stream things to his PS3.

I'd assume a male to male USB connector would only work if your computer was acting like a flash drive/external harddrive.

As you asked for the easiest way to move, I'd say it is still the flash drive. If you want to move a lot at a time, invest in an external harddrive. Alternatively, you could just use an external harddrive to hold all your stuff and have your PS3 access directly from it.
