I bought a TG-16 sytsem from a guy in Canada. He shipped in Canada Post, but I still haven't recieved it yet. It's been over a week.

Does anybody know who Canada Post uses in the US, once the package comes accros the border?

It uses USPS and you should give it another week or two. Or month if by chance it got caught up in customs.

When I ship things to the US I usually ship them Small Packet Surface (the cheapest way) and it will take 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 weeks from my experiences.

I am going to try small packet air next time I send something just to see how much of a time difference there is, there isn't much of a price difference.

Every time i've shipped to Canada or received from Canada it's taken at least 3 weeks. Customs must be a Biatch.

Really, whenever I ship to Canada by USPS air mail, it arrives there within a week. I've had no problems whatsoever shipping or recieving stuff from Canada.

I just live in wisconsin, so its just like tossing the games over the Lake and they're in Canada

The trick to getting stuff through customs is to wrap the parcel in brown packing paper. They rarely like to bother with the stuff.

That must be why Butta....I package every game in priority mail boxes and wrap them in old brown paper bags....maybe thats why I never have a problem.

After aobut 2000 auctions I can accurately say that it usually take 8 to 15 business days for an item to arrive in the US from Canada. Customs can slow things down a bit. I had one item take 2 months to arrive. I have no idea what happened there. There have been a couple of instances where the item arrives with a stamp that says "Opened by Customs".

Well, I got the package about an hour after starting this thread! How funny is that.

He mailed it out on the 10th, from near Ontario, and I got it on the 20th. So it actually wasn't that long, all things considered. (I'm all the way in California)
