Sega 6 button pad I haven't seen.

I don't remember seeing this before. The shape is more like the 3 button pad but with 6 buttons. It looks official but I have never seen this before. Anyone know more about it?

Lol yeah it seems people ask about this particular controller often. Yeah it came with the Genesis 3. I actually have one of those controllers, no where near as comfy as the original 6 button controllers, but still not a bad controller at all.

Yep! I have a Genesis 3 and this is the controller that was packaged with it. It's odd though because the picture on the box shows a different controller with the system.

It's nice that the controller has a built in Turbo switch, but I still find the classic 6-button boomerang to be the most comfortable and responsive.

I have 2 of those. The dpad and buttons aren't very good compared to the other Sega controllers.

Yeah, I have one (had two) of those controllers. They came bundled with the Genesis 3. I like the shape, but the D-Pad is pretty poor. I'd stick with the regular 6-button.

They must have had slighly different Genesis 3 bundles as mine didn't come with one of these. The controller that came with my Genesis 3 is like a regular 6 button 1st party Genesis controller with slow mode and a D-pad that stinks for diagonals.

Yeah, there was a third type of 6-button included with the Genesis 3, the one pictured on the box. That one isn't that good either.

When I saw the one on ebay I almost bought it since it looked like it might be nice. I then saw one in the wild and it just felt cheap.

That one is pretty good. The one that is shaped like a 3-button controller is the bad one.

This pad looks like the old Power Pad but with the second face button. Interesting. I do like the fact that it's shaped like the classic Genesis pad though. Too bad the D-Pad is probably rubbish.
