Hello! I was wondering if anyone here has a complete copy of Faria for the NES, and if so, could you list the contents of the box?
I have a copy that includes:
Box
Cartridge
Manual
NEXOFT 8x11 advertisement poster
Nintendo Power advertisement card
Registration card
..but I swear that I had another 8x11 poster with the game name and other graphics at some point. Does anyone have that?

Also, should I have posted this in the collector's guides forum?

Considering that is one of the rarer NES games, and unbelievably rare to find just the box, yet alone a complete game, good luck trying to find that out.
PS. As luck would have it, there is a "single" complete copy on ebay right now(pretty decent price too may I add, if I had the extra money, I would've probally bought that): http://cgi.ebay.com/FARIA-Complete-In-Box-NES-Nintendo-Game-SUPER-RARE_W0QQitemZ260479619480QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo _Games_Games?hash=item3ca5cb9198
It's hard to tell if it has a map or not, due to how he has everything layed out, so if I were you I would email him, and ask if the game has a map(it appears to have a special insert with a listed print on it(it could be a map key, for all I know), so there might be a map on the other side.
PS. I hate Hydlide so much, Faria was awesome though.

The map was mail order. Although very desired and very expensive, it was mail away and not part of a CIB copy.
The "map" in the Pedro auction is the manual missing its cover.
There is a poster that comes with it, yes.

Ah ok(the way he displayed it, made it look like something else).
Omg, I so want the map then, but seeing how a CIB is pretty unheard of, as is, the odds of finding a map(let alone one in very good condition) is probally basically impossible.

Yeah, the map as Dave said isn't part of a CIB copy. I had to pay $175 for my minty map from Justabum. Good luck finding one as they come up about once or twice in a GOOD YEAR.

Wow, he had a mint one, would he have any extras?

I know about the mail-order map. But what is on the poster? Is it just the NEXOFT advertisement or is there actually another poster with the artwork from the game box?

I agree with both statements. I like the word "Hydlide", though. Plus, it's hardly ever taken as a username.

You'll probably end up spending $250 on it. Imagine all the copies of Shiren you could buy!
I've never seen the poster but it is likely the Nexoft one you have.

I got my CIB copy of Faria for about $20 less than that, and it's in much better condition. Just have patience and keep looking if you're actually serious about wanting this game CIB.

Yeah, you also have to remember that all fixed price auctions are overpriced anywhere from 50% to 75% more than what they'd go for at open auction. This auction is no exception.

Should I conclude, then, that there was never any poster featuring game artwork included with this game?
