Man, I really hope I'm not getting into stuff that's already old news. I used the search and nothing came up, so here goes:

I got a copy of Vectorman for the Sega Genesis a while back, with the cardboard box. It says that it's a "Play to Win" game, basically that once you beat the game you get a code or something, assuming your cartridge was one of the randomly selected ones, and you get the chance to win a bunch of money.

Well, my question is, are the carts that actually have these codes considered rarer than the ones that don't? Are collectors interested in them?

I mean, obviously it's too late to win the contest, but still I assume there's some kind of interest there.

I have no idea if mine is one or not (While I really enjoy the game, it's hard, and my Genesis isn't working lately, so I haven't beaten it).

Anyway, yeah, that's it I guess.

dang it, I knew this was discussed at one point before. I swear the search just refuses to work for me. I guess we can get rid of this thread then if you guys want.

Yeah you have to use advanced search and it helps to specify the exact forum room. Though what really is rough is the more than three letter query.

I searched for God of War the other day and no dice, all words under the four letter minimum. :(

I used standard search but I found it pretty quickly because I knew I had posted in that thread and knew what I was looking for.

If you're looking for something in a thread that you don't need to be logged in to see, you can always use google and add "site:digitpress.com/forum" to your search. Works well for 3 or less letter words (and usually faster too)
