Neo Turf Masters if it is not a conversion is worth $1500 alone. That's a very nice pickup.

Pretty sure it's not a conversion, but is there an easy way to tell?

This might be the Neo Geo Craigslist deal of the century. You have a number of valuable games including World Heroes Perfect and Gowcaizer. Any back story on what the seller's story was? Seems like someone who was still buying Neo Geo games of that late vintage would be aware they were valuable and would have taken a moment to do a Google or Ebay search. It's good for you, but I'm always curious what the real story is on a deal like this.

Shit, thats an amazing find! The gem of the group is neo turf masters, but damn, World heroes perfect, voltage fighter, sonic wings 3, etc. Looks like 3500+ worth of games you pulled down there.

How long was the listing up before you came across it?

Seller says he had a family member who used to work for SNK and gave everyone in his family AES's, NGPC's, and a ton of games when they moved their warehouse out of CA.

I get standout craigslist postings on my RSS feed so it was only up for a couple hours when I saw it, I've gotten beaten to the punch a few times before so I started doing the RSS thing to make sure it didn't happen again heh

alfador, if it has a manual, you should be good to go...definitely a major score, though.

The Gowcaiser, Sonic Wings 3, and Windjammers alone justify the $450 you spent. Like the others have said, the gem is Neo Turf Masters. Still, the rest of the lineup is pretty killer and I would have LOVED to pay only $450 for all of that.

How much is it really worth?

Since you asked about how much it's worth, these are some questions that would determine the value of your purchase. A good way to get a general idea is to post quality photos of everything you have individually. You could open the carts up to inspect the inner boards for a conversion check, but if you haven't done something like that before I may advise against it.

1: How complete are the games? This includes manual bag and any warranty paperwork and everything that originally came with the game.

2: What's the condition of the insert and case? Does it have sun damage on the insert? Is there plastic damage in the inner case?

3: Are the original seal stickers on the outer case?

4: Is the sticker on the actual game in good condion? Are there insertion marks on the actual black plastic of the game?

5: Do the games reek of cigarette smoke?

6: Is the system complete or loose?

7: If the system is complete, does it have the original items that came with it? Is the box in decent shape?

8: Are the ball tops on the controllers cracked?

9: What's the inner color of the carrying case (pink or blue). What's the overall condition?

Overall, that was a very nice purchase for $450. I would love to see detailed photos.

That is definitely one of the most amazing finds I think I've ever come across on the internet... well done my friend. Many Neo collectors spend years tracking down a couple of those carts you picked up... I must say I'm quite jealous.

That Neo Turf Masters, if its authentic and complete, is $2k to $3k by itself.
The WHP and Gowcaizer are $400 each give or take...

Im interested in a couple of the cheapies if you want to make some money back, like Super Sidekicks 3, KOF 95, Top Hunter, and Street Hoop. PM me!

Those games look beautiful Im jeleous. I'd love that Neo Turfmasters from you.

Very nice find there, it's always hard to believe that someone selling Neo Geo stuff can have no idea what it's really worth but it does happen now and again.

Every time I hear about these craigslist finds it reminds me that I should really search nearby craigslist. Seems so tough to setup really good searches on it though. :( I've mucked with it a bit bet never gotten acceptable results, even when using crazedlist. What is this RSS business all about and how would that help?
