I purchased a few Famicom disk system games recently which have hand written labels like some other protos I've had, though since I can't read Japanese and don't have a disk system I can't really tell much from them. Can anyone tell me what these say & if they could possible be protos? (Sorry for the blurry pics - camera is not that great).

THose aren't sample disks. Sample disks are white. Definitely not protos. Probably just writer disks from the convenience stores back in the day where you could choose games....

Those don't have the Nintendo logo imprented on them so wouldn't this be a pirated disk?

Going by the text on them they must be Chinese. The first one says Jin Pai Ma Li, which is what SMB2 is known as in Taiwan.

The 2nd one says Link's Adventure. I think the 3rd one says Sai Er Da, which is "Zelda", so probably the first game.

Whoops, yeah, forgot they don't say NINTENDO on the bottom, so definitely pirates.
