Just got my hands on a "reasonably" cheap very good condition CIB copy. What sort of price is it going for currently? I was mainly acquiring it to pass along as I have the Japanese version already...

$40-$50 on average these days.

50 is about the max i'm seeing. There were a bunch of DS games that were pulling money and either the speculation got old, or the demand hit the quantity available (my bet is on #1).

It cost me $39.99 at gamestop a month ago. :(
I was told you can buy it at Nintendo's store in New York for $29.99 new. Can't confirm that though.

Provided those GS copies are legit its probably an okay deal. Didn't the same bootleggy fate that befell Tetris DS happen to Electroplankton?

Mine was a legit one. And the manual is pretty chunky. And is has a demo mode that you can just sit and watch.

The US version was really only available through Nintendo online. Leftover copies later showed up in GS stores (where I got my 'new' copy) a few months later. It never had a standard release so finding copies here is more uncommon.
