Hey all- picked up a working but bare SNES for $4 yesterday (cables/controller extra) & grabbed the wrong golf game by accident- PGA Tour Golf by EA which I think stinks (I have the better PGA Euro Tour for the Genny). I barely recall a good one from years ago...there were no human players, no commentary, & just a single full course. It was still areally good game! I recall the graphics were really sharp & crisp, but I can't place the name or maker. Please help a "new" SNES owner out!

If it was an overhead view game, I'll guess that it is the Irem Skins Game. It's pretty fun. I don't remember too many good SNES golf games...although I like Mecarobot Golf as well (although it is a sloooow game to play).

Well, this may or may not be it, but there was a really cool friggin golf SNES game called "Wicked 18". It is set in complete 3-dimensial enviorments. I think it is one of the few games that uses the FX chip. I rmember that the game was set in some rather odd coarses. Still, for super nintendo graphix, it was the bond. It was like playing golf in star fox.

Hal's Hole In One Golf had the overhead view too. It was an earlier golf game for the console, but was one of the best. As for Wicked 18, I don't believe that ever came out for the SNES. It was on the 3DO and the Saturn as "Valora Valley Golf."

Yes, Wicked 18 came out for SNES. I think I'm looking for Hole-in-One. It wasn't 3D, but an overhead view, & I do believe it was an early title. I'm returning PGA Tour today; I'll ask about Hal's then. Thanks!

Well, didn't find Hole-in-One, but used the returned game & got Super Star Wars instead. As I said, I just got an SNES so I missed out on lots of these games years ago. This game is freakin' HARD! I just got to the sandcrawler & am lost from there...

Another thing I noticed @ the store (GameStop)- I'll post it separately so's more people can see it & generate discussion...
