Yea I know a lot of games don't even worth much to them. It has to be a certain game listed on their website or you can use the Redflagdeals list for trade in value.

I'll just add for anyone else, that after looking into it this DSi XL deal was only in Canada. So you don't have to kick yourself if you are south of the border.

Small haul the last two days. Already posted what I got from the GS Game Days Sale in a previous post but picked up a few more items after shopping around today.
Yesterday, at Kroger's of all places, I found Season 1 of Lois and Clark: The New Adv. of Superman shrinkwrapped. It was marked $7.99 but only rang up at $4.
Today I hit up a few places. First stop Toys R Us.
Soul Bubbles (DS) $5
Women's Volleyball Championship (PS2) $5 (hey, it's an Agetec title!)
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (PS2) $5
Data East Arcade Classics (Wii) $20
101 In 1: Party Megamix (Wii) $10
TRU was running a special where it was Buy 1, Get 1 50% off all Wii games under $30 (or $40 I can't remember). They had the deal on their DVDs and Blu-Rays as well and I almost took advantage of it but didn't see anything I wanted.
Over to Best Buy...who also had a Buy 1, Get 1 50% off all DS games. Selection was HORRIBLE at this location, was looking for Retro Game Challenge but didn't find it. :( I did end up with...
Spectrobes Collector's Edition (DS) $15
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer (DS) $7.50
My buddy expressed interest in Fallout 3 for XB360 from the GS Game Days Sale and I told him I would check to see if they still had any since it's right next to Best Buy. I stopped into Blockbuster right quick first and snagged...
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS) $20
Brutal Legend (XB360) $10 (for my friend)
Brutal Legend (PS3) $10 (for me)
Then I hopped next door to GS. I saw they still had the Greatest Hits version but for some reason I thought it would have the GOTY content and it didn't, silly me. ;). I opted against buying it then and figured I would inform my friend about that. I didn't walk out empty handed though and picked up...
Cursed Mountain (Wii) $10
Spectral Force Genesis (DS) $20
I had the Spectral Force on pre-order and saw on the site it got dropped to $20. When the girl went to activate my reserve it said the game wasn't out yet and was $30. She did some checking and found the SKU at the $20 price and rang it up under that. I did her a favor and didn't cancel my reserve as I know they'd take a hit on their percentages if I did. :)
Would've been a whole lot less to type if I just had my camera to snap pics with but I don't remember where it is. I haven't been able to find it since I moved back in June.

I was a bit adventurous today. I spent $1 on a CD called "The Banjos that Destroyed the World: The Fastest 5-String Banjo Instrumentals of All Time". Talk about a Kitsune Sniper buy.
Speaking of things Kitsune Sniper might buy, I paid a buck for Bite Me! - starring Misty Mundae - on DVD at a closing Hollywood Video.

Got a couple things in the mail today that I had bought off of eBay. First is a manual for the Saturn game Shining Wisdom. That set me back $3.75 plus shipping. The other purchase is the most that I have ever spent for a single game. I recently sold my copy of Radiant Silvergun and used that money and some extra to pick up a complete copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga last week for $190. It was more than I wanted to spend, (of course), but I can't complain. Except for some slight scuffing on the case, it looks like they ripped the shrink wrap off right before sending it to me. All the disks look beautiful, if not almost perfect. Now all I need is some time to sit down and play it.

eBay finds aren't always something that fit in this thread (I've heard complaints about them being in the finds threads), but I got 26 NES games and 10 Genesis games for $12 total (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220578149860&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT). If the seller had only put the number of games included in his title he might've gotten a bit more.
Expect a big pic of them when they arrive, and most of them are FS/FT. I think the only ones that I'm keeping are The Punisher and Bionic Commando.
And I'll get rid of all those Genesis games somehow.

Bah. Sometimes an eBay score can be just as good as something you find at a flea market booth or a pawn shop.

It'll say "Swatch" somewhere on the back, as well as "Swiss made" somewhere if it is a Swatch. It definitely looks like one. Swatches are known for having weird, pop-art style decoration on their face.
And of course Swatches are thin and made of plastic, like your watch.
I can definitely tell you that it's meant to look like a Swatch if it's not one.

Weird find today. Had to suck up to the wife to get the money to snag this, but:

Went wandering around today, went to a thrift store nearby that I haven't been in because I was tired of looking at Genesis sports games and lo-and-behold, a boxed Odyssey2! Never seen one in the wild...So after some begging and pleading, I snagged it because I know I will never see one again..After paying the wife back tomorrow, I'm heading back to get the other games that were there..Everyone of them were CIB and damn near mint..
And since I didn't know which games would be the best to snag, I went with the big box ones..They are complete with boards and little pieces that don't even look like they were used...Left Wall Street Adventure back there...Dammit..I MAY have seen Power Lords! there as well..This is what happens when I venture into systems I don't collect..lol. Will check tomorrow.

Spring fever has really cut down on my game-searches. The weather is so nice I'm working in the yard, washing the car, spring cleaning - just about anything except driving around looking for games. Today I went to Half Price books to check out their Tolkien books and found:
Dead or Alive 3 (Xbox) mint and complete - $2
No big deal, but a game I don't own. Closing in on 500 Xbox games.

Demon's Souls Deluxe Edition With Strategy Guide - $55 (I'd been looking for one of these on ebay for a while and the price is quite high. Hopefully I can get a copy of the soundtrack and artbook now).
Also traded in two games to get Final Fantasy XIII for $20.

I only found two things while thrift store shopping today. :( An Entex Electronic Poker (http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Entex/Poker.htm) handheld from 1979, looking clean and new (but loose). $2.92. Then I bought an Edge FX Splitfish (http://www.i4u.com/section-viewarticle-187.html) PS2 optical mouse/nunchuck. It's supposed to give you all the smooth control of a mouse but on a game console. It was $2.92 also.

You can get a cheapo Gamecube A/V cable at Gamestop for like five dollars. That'll work.
That was a pretty good price, Mega Man X is worth around $15 on its own. :)
As for my finds... I had none. Because the line to cross to the US was about an hour long. I went back home, my brother tried to cross two hours later and it was twice as long. I hate Homeland Security, they always get even bitchier when it's Spring Break down here. :P

Not really 'finds', because they're off of ebay, but I'm posting them anyways!
Palamedes (NES) - CIB; the box and manual look like they've never been touched, but the cartridge has writing all over it, front, back and the sides. Seriously, I've never seen anything like it. Anyways, it was only 99 cents (yep, no bidders) and it's an 'R5' on top of that!
Odama (GC) - CIB; including large outer box, mic and mic holder. The box is beat to shit, but at only $1.99 (no bidders again), I can't even complain!

Well. This has to be one of the most awesome pieces to my collection.
Just picked this up. It HAS to be one of, if not THE, only ones left in the world.
An unopened box of Super Mario Bros 3 fruit snacks!!
I mean, seriously. Who would have kept this and not opened it? Back then no one had any idea to collect video game stuff.
It is in PERFECT shape. Going on my wall of NES next to my SMB Dixie cups and my napkins! haha

Pac-Man: Maze Madness, loose (PSX) for $0.50
Alienware Respawn CD recovery kit (for XP Professional) for $2.50
Speaking of Kitsune Sniper buys I got a cheesy 70s kung-fu 2 pack DVD set with "Kung Fu From Beyond the Grave" and "The Guy with the Secret Kung Fu". The former looks amazing, as from what I can tell it has kung-fu Dracula and zombies and stuff. Cool! I can't wait to watch that one.

Win 2K Pro SEALED - $5
Magic & Mayhem for Heretic - $1
Ultima Collection CD - $1
Blaze DC VGA Box - $1
That is the second Windows 2000 Professional set I've found in six days. I bought one last Wednesday and sold it almost immediately on eBay. Good thing too, I'm almost broke. :P
Magic & Mayhem is by Laser Magic, it's actually a collection of tons of user made maps for Heretic. I already have this on Steam, I figure I can run these using a source port or something.
Ultima Collection has the first eight Ultima games, including the original original game that started it all. Going to be on sale, again. :p
And that Blaze DC VGA Box was at that booth that had all those European Mega Drive games last weekend. Most of the games were still there and this was right next to a beat up Dreamcast. I have no idea if it works... or its quality. I can only find European reviews of the thing, will it work on my US Dreamcast?

Agreed, very awesome aaron! Kitsune, spoilage isn't an issue, you've just mistaken those treats for food rather than the 'food-like' substance they really are. ;)

More Game.com stuff, 2.80 each, which is a bit pricey for them, but other than the past month I never see the stuff. Tiger handheld that seemed like it might be fun for 0.60. Maybe overpaid for .hack Mutation @ 12.80, but it is in real nice shape. Top 2 GB games were 3.99 and 4.99, but when I checked my receipt to log the purchase they were half off... it must have been toddler Thurs. or something to make them half off. The next 6 were 5.80 each at my favorite thrift, as were the last two, but they were bought today and so were 25% off. Aerobiz was 1.80, as was the Strike Commander/Privateer combo disc. I played Privateer a bit a long time ago and liked it, but got stuck and never made much progress. Blake stone was 2.99 at Goodwill, and it just looked too bad to pass up.
And the reason I got off my butt to post:

I did a little checking, and this appears to be the first of 2 re-releases. This one is still in EGA, so I'm thinking it was released because of the HeroQuest copyright dispute (this one is Quest for Glory, not Hero's Quest like the original). Then there was later the VGA release. I definitely played the EGA version, as I distinctly remember asking the waitress about topics such as boobs and sex (she just blushes, by the way), which the menu based dialogue I'm guessing would not allow.

Highlight of the weekend was the bunch of complete NES games. The Activator is a fun little find, if a little useless and difficult to store (running out of space here!). I was also pleased to pick up that copy of Thunder Strike with the RE2 disc inside, since the copy I picked up a few weeks ago turned out to have a damaged disc one; now the game is complete.

I stopped by the Movie Trading Company store near my brother's house tonight, and bought Puzzle Bobble Vs. (factory sealed) and FIFA 2004 for the Nokia N-Gage for $2.99 each, Light Crusader for the Genesis (complete) for $3.99, and the strangest find, Jersey Devil for the Playstation... but in PAL format. It's a British release. It's the only one they had, everything else in the place was NTSC format. I bought that one for $14.99. It's more than I should have paid, it's just you don't often see UK releases here in the US. I see more Japanese games over here than British. And I just bought a PAL Playstation a week or two ago...

Just so you know that light crusaders is in a "cut" box so not really complete, but still a nice find at that price :-)

I had a productive lunch, hit the mini flea and got 5 N64 games: Namco Museum, Star Wars Rogue Squadron, 007 GE, and both Zeldas. I also got (BUM BUM BUUUUM...) Mario/Duck Hunt/Track Meet! :eek 2: I know, I know, but it was the throw-in and hopefully it will help move one of my NESs this weekend. $10 for all 6 games.

Picked up one non-video game related item today at Goodwill. It is a boxed copy of the Twilight: 2000 RPG. Not sure which version it is, but it is at least version 2. Also, not sure if it is complete since I don't know what is supposed to be in there, but it looks new since the markers haven't been cut apart. Paid $2 for it.

Went out to get some watch batteries and a haircut, and in between I hit a Half Price Books and picked up:
Time Crisis (PS1) complete $5.98
LOTR: Return of the King Strategy Guide - $1
America's Army: Rise of a Soldier Strategy Guide - $1
No big deal. But then I got a package in the mail I had completely forgotten about: An original Zaxxon board game from 1982! Here are some pics:
http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/3266/sam1159.jpg (http://img704.imageshack.us/i/sam1159.jpg/)
Box is a little worn, but I was hoping the inside contents were in better shape.
http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/2067/sam1160.jpg (http://img704.imageshack.us/i/sam1160.jpg/)
Not only in GREAT shape, but 100% complete, including used sticker sheet!
http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/615/sam1161.jpg (http://img704.imageshack.us/i/sam1161.jpg/)
Here's a view of the board all set up. The pieces look perfect and the board literally looks unused!
http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/1750/sam1162.jpg (http://img704.imageshack.us/i/sam1162.jpg/)
Couldn't help myself with this shot. Feel like I'm in the pilot's seat....
Oh, the total for the game was about $12 delivered, with most of that being the overpriced shipping, but I'm extremely happy with it. It's my first board game from the vintage arcade era.

Dang, 98PaceCar, I don't want to post after you now. My finds seem so pathetic in comparison.
http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp222/StevePW/atariholders.jpg
The first thrift I went to, I noticed an Atari cart holder on a shelf. Looked around and located a second. Unfortunately, there weren't any more. $1.99 each. At another thrift I found the Yu-Gi-Oh import game (complete) for $10.99, but it was half-off at the register. I also picked up that odd Simon look-alike, mainly because it apparently gives you a mild electrical shock if you push the wrong button! $1.99 for that one. And the VR helmet looking thing was $4.99. The War of the Worlds thing is a 5-disc audio book (not the Orson Welles radio version from the late '30s) for 99¢.

Nice find on the Rez! Awesome game and infinitely playable!
So, my recent finds (in the mail, that is):
Aerobiz Supersonic Manual and Map - I bought a boxed copy of the SNES version from a forum member not too long ago, but I wanted to make it complete. Total price... 99 cents! Courtesy of ebay!
Alien Soldier (Genesis) - A CIB repro from another forum member. Incredibly high quality production and for a fraction of the price when compared to the 'real' game!
Third World War (Sega CD) - Received in a trade with a forum member.
Predator 2 (Genesis) - Received in a trade with the same forum member.
