I am trying to decide if I should keep a lot of scrap boxes and packaging I have laying around. I intend to keep all actual game boxes. I am talking about boxes for accessories mostly, and perhaps newer consoles. I have so many boxes and blister packages that I saved knowing that they will help the resale value of the items I bought, but it has gotten a bit too ridiculous. Many of these are for third party accessories, but I still think "video game collectibles" and keep them.
So, what are your philosophies regarding this. What do you keep and what do you toss?
Right now I am thinking of keeping anything older than the PS2, which is why I am asking on the Modern Gaming board. I am thinking right now that I should probably throw away all third party boxes unless especially notable for some reason, and keep most of the first party stuff. But maybe I should get rid of all "blister packages".
That is my dilemma.
