Was this a good deal?

I purchased a bunch of PS2 games from a guy that was getting rid of his collection (college student). Here is a list of the items I grabbed:

Grandia III
Xenosaga 1 & 2
Valkyrie Profile 2
GrimGrimoire
Dark Cloud 1 & 2
Onimusha 1, 2, & 3
Devil May Cry 1 & 2
Champions of Norrath 1 & 2
Silent Hill 2 & 3
Dragon Quest 8
Blood Rayne 2 (bleh)

..and a bunch of other rpgs that I cannot remember at the moment.

All but one were black label originals, and all were in excellent condition with manuals that look like they were never used, and discs that have no visible marks.

All these and a couple others for $75 CDN. Was this a good deal? I think they were worth it.

I would say so. You paid an average of $4.17 a piece on games that are up to $10-$15 at Game Crazy still. That's less than half off for games in good condition.

That's a very good deal. A lot of those games are pretty good. Since you also got a bunch of other RPGs even better.

Really, that's all that matters. If you're happy with your purchase then it was a good buy.

Having said that, yeah, I would agree that those games are worth $75. If you haven't played it yet I would recommend Dragon Quest VIII. It plays like an old-school rpg but looks fantastic.

It doesn't hurt that this sort of thread tends to be the MO for other DP trolls of the past. Now we just need the OP to ask which one he should play first, then mention another deal for another set of games but he doesn't plan on playing any of those either, but if he were, which one should he play first? :P

For real, you're the only one that can determine if the deal was worth it.
