Is this game really worth that much? Granted I haven't followed the TG16 scene much but I've been thinking about getting back into the TG purely for gaming. I know its rare but that rare?

WOW!!!! I'd say that is gonna go higher. The box is insanely hard to find. Everyone needs that box. This one actually has the misc. inserts that came with it. Very nice. Even if someone just wants a piece from this they will be bidding and relisting the extra pieces. Definitly worth watching.

What's the Rarity rating on this game, R8 or R9? Either way, this game rarely comes around. It's hard enough to find the common Turbo stuff, let alone Magical Chase.

Another one just popped up at $1599 buy it now. Lets see how long that lasts... I bet less than 3 hours...

Smart move, those people who are bidding up the $1525 copy can see that, and wager whether they will pay an extra $75 for a less-minty copy and avoid a likely bidding war... very smart from that seller's perspective.

But yeah, this is kind of one of those games that appears to have taken a life of its own in terms of mystique and pricing. Finding a nice box like that is quite challenging these days. Collecting Turbo boxes in general is a huge pain in the butt.

Well, it rarely shows up CIB and it's actually a good game (I have the PCE version). I'm not sure if it justifies the final price though.
