I'm looking for 2 (maybe 3) official Nintendo S-Video cables. They can be used, but must work as new.
Does anyone have any they are willing to sell?
Please PM me if you do.
Thanks

Uhh...you should probably specify which system.

Did Nintendo even have official s-video cables? I assume you are looking for the SNES/N64/Gamecube compatible cable? If so, I have sealed ones but they are 3rd party if you are interested.

I'm looking for the ones that are for the SNES/N64/Gamecube. The same S-Video cable works for all three of these systems.

Yes, they did make official S-Video cables, but they are pretty hard to come by these days.
How many of the 3rd party ones do you have? Also, do you have any experience with them yourself, and if so, did they work well?
I'm pretty sure you can get these on the Nintendo store site for about $15. Sure, there are cheaper third party brands, but the ones I tested didn't work as well as the official cables from Nintendo. Hope this helps.
EDIT: Just looked on their site and didn't see them listed. Sorry about that.

Nintendo no longer carries them, or I would have bought from them. What is so hard to believe that is Nintendo sold them for quite a while, but they seem to be very hard to find. I'm not really sure why.
Yeah, they carried them for a super long time. I was really surprised when I checked earlier and they were gone. Good luck with your search.

If they carried them for so long, I have no clue why they are so hard to find. There aren't any official ones on Ebay right now, and I could only find one official one in the completed listing.
I'm still looking, if anyone has a couple they are willing to part with, please PM me.

You could always try the Monster GameCube S-Video cables, they produce a pretty nice picture IMO.
That is, if you're open to non-1st party stuff and really only concerned about video quality.

I'm really trying to go first party. Thanks anyway though.

Was the Nintendo online store the only way to buy them? If so, I wouldn't be surprised if they were somewhat rare. Most people probably wouldn't bother anyway when they've already hooked up their systems with the cables they came with.
It's a real shame they don't sell them anymore, though. I hope mine never craps out. I only have one that I share between the three systems.

Yeah, I think they were the only way to get them, but they sold them for a long time, so I'm still really surprised they aren't easier to find.
I mean, I can't even find a pic of them anywhere online. There is virtually zero talk about them online anywhere. I guess most people are happy with 3rd party S-Video cables.
