I picked these up yesterday and they are pretty nice, especially for a $1 or you can get them with a kids meal.

Wow awesome(there is so much retro revival going on these days, It's great).
I loved Break Out Back in the day(eas easily one of my favorite games on Atari).
Also you can't go wrong with Asteroids, and Centipede.
Although I would've gone with something like, Cobra Command or whatnot over Luner Landing, however still sweet.
Thanks for the notice, I'll have to pick up a set.

That's pretty cool. Unfortunately I don't like playing games on PC really and really don't collect what I don't play. I'd probably stick them somewhere that they'd get damaged when moving stuff around.

Nice I'm probably going to pick up 2 sets. 1 to play and 1 to keep

Way cool. I know where I'm going to eat today, and I know what toilet I'm going to be sitting at, as well.

Damn, I just got back from Taco Bueno. Seriously, I had a taco platter, a coke, and a cheesecake desert thingie.

Taco Bell has officially made up for that crappy "NBA $5 box" commercial. Sorry Charles Barkley, but here's something that actually rocks.

US only? I hope not, gives me a reason to go by Taco Bell. I'll probably go by one this weekend perhaps.

Wow, since when does Taco Bell have good kid's meal toys? These are great!

I actually ran into the people who made that awful commercial. They bought a Barkley USA jersey from me a few months ago. They wanted it overnighted, but they only paid for Priority shipping, so I sent them a refund and a new invoice for the correct amount. In the days that followed, I emailed two or three different people who clearly have never used ebay or email before.
They ended up never paying me and instead they bought a massively shit-looking bootleg 76ers jersey for $100+shipping!!! When I eventually filed a non-paying bidder dispute, the one guy sent me a nasty email, because he's an important ad wizard and I'm a lowly internet salesman. You can see the fake Barkley in a glass case in the first, short version of the commercial. It's red with really thick letters/number on the back. I'm going to post the back-and-forth on my ebay morons site when I get a chance.

I always thought that commercial was entertaining in the "so bad it's good" kind of way. At least we know his lyrical beats are about as good as his golfing.
Great story, by the way.

Sweet. Which "evolved" mode do you think is best? In order for me:
4)Centipede
3)Asteroids
2)Breakout
#1 Lunar Lander

Haven't opened them up yet, not sure if I will. I want one set sealed for myself, and maybe one set to sell sealed in the future, but maybe if I buy a 3rd set, I'll open them, and try them.

I plan to call the Taco Bell in Forest Hill Plaza to see if they have any in stock. I would not mind one set for me to open and play, one to keep sealed, one for Tom, and one for my brother.

Enjoy you non-horrible food. Seriously, I got six things at a Taco Bell a few days ago, and I haven't felt so poisoned since...well, since the last time I went to a Taco Bell, or another fast food place.
It's cool to hear these games aren't just the original modes, though. I'd be up for an "evolved" version of Centipede if new mechanics or whatever don't break the gameplay. Might just see if it hits the "free web" first though.

Look like ill be grabbing some cinnamon twist and 4 atari games. Taco Bell is worse than any other fast food. But kudos on the promotion.

I shopped around all 4 taco bells in my area today and none of them had Centipede:mad: They were also charging 1.75 each:mad:
Needless to say I still picked up the 3 they had.

I'm hoping this becomes popular and they offer more games later on.

this is a cool gimmick though I'm not sure I want to pay $1 for them when I can get them online or for 25c somewhere else but maybe. I still have a box of atari games I need to do something with...

I'm a bit frustrated. I live in Las Vegas and the Taco Bell we went to didn't know what we were talking about... :hmm:
