This is very nice; I did just finish the first Portal a few months back, so I am really looking forward to this. Now, to finish up Half-Life 2 and both episodes released so far...

If I'm not mistaken there was an update on Portal a few days ago, players were expected to find radio stations which transmitted morse code than when translated would give the player a number to a BBS that contains some ASCII graphics showing what the new game will look like.

Probably not, but I will probably get Portal 1 and 2. Maybe both Left 4 Deads' as well.

I'm derailing the topic though, so let's discuss if anyone thinks this game will suck! I wouldn't be surprised if there was some level of disappointment considering it is hard to surpass a great game, but it is possible. I guess we'll have to wait for the hands on to see if it is radically different in a bad way.

I kinda wish that they'd integrate the two and have Portal 2 be HL2: Ep3. Still, "bigger, better" Portal sequel works for me.

Actually, I wouldn't mind another colored box while they're at it. TOB had several smaller releases that individually garnered more attention and fanbase than most full-production releases. Episodic variety packs are an untapped market.

Portal 2 is to have cross platform play with PS3 and Steam servers. This should also mean free updates since Steam doesn't charge users for their DLC(even though I hate DLC, I don't mind free DLC as long as it's not there to entice preorder.) Hopefully this will mean other developers might start attempting to possibly fund Steam to host their servers for both PS3 and Steam users.

Steam needs to work on porting Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 to the PS3 next. I would have purchased them for the PC already if I actually liked playing games on the PC.

Well maybe you will get your chance , you just need to buy their game once on Ps3 and you get access to the Pc and mac port free of charge. Its part of steam cloud and a steam account which allows games to stay on your account cross platform.
